This is a news blog, not the sloppy ramblings about breakfast, bird poop or any number of inane ramblings found on most independent blogs. This writer isn't trying to be cute. She doesn't need to make you laugh. She's presenting topics for discussion, which you "M" seem to have completely missed.

You want somebody to tell you what they had for lunch, you're probably on the wrong site.

But just to keep you entertained, I had a turkey and swiss on white. There, feel better?

Oh wow, where to start?
This is a blog. Blogs usually have some flavor of the author in them. I can see that you are a reporter. That is obvious. Unfortunately it is so obvious that it is all that I can see.

Loosen up and lighten up a bit!

Does it make you angry when a bird poops on your car 10 minutes after you washed it? Are you angry when people you interview outright lie to you? What do you like to eat? Where are some cool places you have been and people you have met while covering Cameron County?

These are some of the things usually found in journalists blogs. They give life and depth to the person behind the distilled facts which make up a news story. I do understand how it can be at the very least difficult to change up the style of writing, especially if you write to make a living,

Cruise some of the other local blogs in the area and let your hair down a bit! Mine probably won't be your cup of tea, but there are side links to quite a few others in the area that may be more to your liking.
