It seems that the number of candidates running for Cameron County Pct. 2 Commissioner continues to grow. So far, the list includes Dr. Enrique Escobedo, Leo Garza, Pastor Victor Alvarez - at least these are the ones who have officially announced.

The unofficial candidates are Ernie Hernandez and current Commissioner John Wood, who has yet to announce.

Then, there’s the report that a current city commissioner, but soon to be out of office, could announce.

The outcome should be interesting.
