There’s a debate going on between Cameron Count officials and District Judge J. Roland Olvera Jr.
It has to do with the installation of a shower in the judge’s chambers that was never approved by Commissioners’ Court.
County officials claim Olvera asked that shower be installed.
Olvera maintains county workers took it upon themselves to install the shower.
Here’s the question, how did talk of installing a shower come up?
Was it during the planning phase? During a walk through of the chambers?
Whenver it was, it didn’t sit well with Commissioners’ Court and the shower was immediately removed.
That’s one mess that’s been cleaned. One has to wonder if there are any more out there.
